The robot mowers from Mova do not require a boundary wire and are designed to reliably avoid domestic and wild animals.

Mova has developed two robotic mowers that are designed to tackle slopes of up to 45 per cent. The manufacturer claims an operating noise of 60 decibels. This is slightly louder than a radio at room volume, but less than the average street noise. What's more, both work without boundary wires and RTK stations for a local GPS signal.

You can pre-order the devices from us now.

Mova 1000: for difficult terrain

The Mova 1000 is designed for lawns of up to 1000 square metres and weighs 11.7 kilograms. With its robust off-road tyres, it is said to be particularly suitable for more complex outdoor areas. According to the manufacturer, the tyres improve traction and reduce the risk of slipping and potential damage to the lawn.

With a cutting width of 20 centimetres and a manually adjustable cutting height of two to six centimetres, the mower is said to cover 90 square metres per hour in standard mode. In efficiency mode, the manufacturer claims 150 square metres per hour.

The robot recognises its surroundings using LiDAR technology, i.e. via laser. Users should be able to set several mowing areas via the corresponding app. An advantage for anyone whose green spaces are not connected. The app allows the creation of multiple maps, the planning of seasonal cutting schedules and the definition of cutting patterns.

The Mova 1000 measures 643 × 419 × 279 millimetres, the charging station 770 × 481 × 309 millimetres. The device also has a fast-charging mode that promises a charge of 90 per cent within 40 minutes.

Mova 600 for smaller areas

At 10 kilograms, the slightly lighter Mova 600 is designed for garden areas of up to 600 square metres. It has to make do without the off-road tyres, but offers the same basic equipment.

The mowing performance is identical to the Mova 1000, as are the cutting width and cutting height. The dimensions are also the same. The Mova 600 also uses LiDAR technology for navigation and allows multiple map management.
