Now with us: new robot mower models from Ecovacs

Ecovacs is launching four new robotic mowers just in time for the start of the gardening season. The Goat series does not require a traditional boundary wire and is equipped with modern navigation systems.
The appliances from Ecovacs have been developed for different garden sizes and requirements. Let me introduce you to the models.
Ecovacs Goat A3000 LiDAR: top model for large gardens
"Goat" stands for "Garden Outdoor Automated Technology". This describes exactly what the robotic lawnmowers are designed to do: automatic lawn care without the hassle of laying boundary wires.
The Ecovacs Goat A3000 LiDAR is the premium model for gardens up to 3000 square metres. The device does not rely on satellite technology, but on what the manufacturer calls "LELS" technology, which works with two cameras. This enables the robot to create panoramic maps of its surroundings and is not dependent on a GPS signal. There are also two LiDAR sensors on board that use lasers to determine distances.
The robot is designed to reliably recognise and avoid obstacles such as garden furniture or trees in real time. According to the manufacturer, slopes of up to 50 per cent are no problem for the model. The cutting height can be selected between 30 and 60 millimetres. The cutting width is 330 mm.

The model mows for up to 100 minutes before it has to return to the charging station.
Ecovacs Goat A1600 RTK: mid-range model with RTK navigation
The Goat A1600 RTK was developed for areas up to 1600 square metres. Instead of LiDAR, this model uses RTK (Real-Time Kinematics) navigation. The necessary reference station for the GPS signal is included in the scope of delivery. The A1600 RTK uses the same collision avoidance technology as the A3000. The battery life, maximum slope height and cutting width are identical.
Ecovacs Goat O800 RTK: compact model for small to medium-sized gardens
The Ecovacs Goat O800 RTK is ideal for gardens up to 800 square metres. It also navigates via RTK and, according to the manufacturer, should be able to pass through narrow passages of just 70 centimetres with particular ease. The manufacturer claims a battery life of up to 65 minutes. Slopes of up to 45 per cent should be no problem for this model. The cutting width is 220 millimetres.
Ecovacs Goat O500 Panorama: for smaller gardens
The entry-level model in the series is designed for smaller gardens of up to 500 square metres. Unlike the other models, the robot mower does not use LiDAR or RTK technology, but instead relies on AI-based camera navigation. The obstacle detection technology is identical to the other models. The mower with a cutting width of 220 millimetres is said to be able to manage slopes of up to 45 per cent and work for up to 52 minutes on one battery charge.
