Frantic board game: a ladder game on steroids
by Ramon Schneider
Hasbro has just released a new edition of the famous Monopoly - a board game that comes in some fifty versions - where the rules are turned upside down and there are plenty of opportunities to cheat.
In this edition, the principle of the game nevertheless remains the same as in normal times: you have to ruin your opponents and amass as much money as possible.
.
However, some of the rules have changed slightly. The bank is no longer managed by a single player, but moves with the person whose turn it is to play. This makes it easier to dip into the till. There are also new cheat cards that tell players how to cheat. For example, you can charge exorbitant rent or cheat with dice, without your opponents noticing. If they catch you red-handed, you'll rot in jail.
