No appliance failed the test. All of them cool sufficiently. However, depending on the placement of the appliance one or the other is more suitable: the fan is used in the bedroom? Then it must have a silent motor. Is it used in the office? Then the direction must be precise so that the cold air doesn't blow into your neighbour's neck. Find your model!
1st place: Dyson AM08
The Dyson device is the winner of the test. This fan boasts good quality and a very precisely adjustable airflow. It received a score of 5.5 and therefore a "Very Good" rating. What's more, this is a special model among stand-mounted fans: where other fans have an impeller, the Dyson has a hole. Its motor is built into the base. The air is accelerated and guided upwards where it is expelled through small holes on the sides of the circle.

- Fans cool without lowering the room temperature. The flow of air accentuates our body's natural air conditioning: perspiration on the skin evaporates more quickly in the wind and can thus help to evacuate heat. That's why the cooling effect is more intense when you're already sweating slightly.
- You can achieve optimum air circulation by positioning the fan in a corner of the room and directing the airflow towards the ceiling. If there is a cooler room next to the room to be cooled, then position the unit towards the door.
