It is 1989 and never before have there been so many different youth cultures: Gothic, Punk, Mods, Skinheads, New Romantics. And they all wore the same uniform. The rest were usually just boring everyday clothes, adapted and dusty. Between these two extremes there was: nothing!
Boxfresh was born in this field of tension. At a modest market stall in London, Boxfresh started to print homemade prints on vintage T-shirts - an unseen and unique creative achievement for that time. Shortly afterwards, the company began to design more streetwear items. Today, Boxfresh focuses on sneakers. They find their inspiration in the cities where they live, grow up, spend time, play and work.
